The Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala has congratulated the people of Abia State on 2023 Easter Celebration and urged them to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation.
While assuring that the command has put adequate measures in place to ensure the security of lives and property in the state, the police boss in a release by the command spokesman, CSP Geoffrey Ogbonna warns criminal elements nursing the intention of disrupting the peace in the state to steer clear or have themselves to blame.
CP Bala also urged Abians to always remember the reason for the season and reflect on its significance to the Christendom.

He said the force is in collaboration with sister agencies to provide adequate security for all during and after the celebrations.
The release read in part, “The Nigeria Police Force, Abia State Command has emplaced actionable strategies in synergy with supportive sister agencies to provide adequate Security before, during and after the period.
“Consequently and in line with Standard Operational Practices (SOP), the CP has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Heads of Tactical teams and formations in the Command to intensify confidence building/show of force patrol in their respective areas of responsibility.”
