Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has congratulated the recently deployed Nigeria’s Ambassador to United States of America, Dr Mrs Uzoma Emenike.
Amb. Emenike was before her redeployment the country’s Ambassador to Ireland.
Dr. Ogah in a congratulatory message on Monday said Amb. Emenike as a career diplomat has been a shinning light in the Nigerian diplomatic circle, adding that her latest deployment is a call for more service to the country.
Describing the envoy as an embodiment of integrity and excellent service, Dr. Ogah observed that her years of diplomatic career have been a collection of milestone of honour for the country in the comity of nations.
The Minister further added that this goes to show that women are gifted with the natural capacity to be agents of change at the national and global stage.
He also expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for finding Amb. Emenike worthy of her new assignment, urging her to justify the confidence the President and the entire country repose in her by upholding her record of selflessness and integrity.
