As part of his efforts to minimize the challenges of the Abia COVID-19 lockdown enforcement team, the Director ABN TV, Mr. Ifeanyi Okali has commenced the daily distribution of free drinking water to them even as the sunshine scourges in the state.
In a chat with newsmen on Tuesday, he said he appreciates the enormous challenges the team and others on essential duty face especially at a time many shops in the state remain under lock and key as a result of the lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
He said he will continue this exercise in Umuahia and environs until the restriction of movements is lifted.
The beneficiaries which also include security agents at strategic points in Umuahia City centre and others on essential duty expressed gratitude over the gesture.
