The Managing Director Nigeria Films Corporation, Chidia Maduekwe has congratulated the former Vice Chairman of APC South East, Dr. Anyim Nyerere on his appointment and confirmation by the Senate as the region’s Commissioner in National Pension Commission (PenCom).
In a congratulatory message on Sunday, Maduekwe expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu for finding Abia son in the person of Dr. Nyerere whom he described as a seasoned administrator worthy of representing South East region in the PenCom board.
According to Maduekwe, Dr. Nyerere is a man with proven integrity, administrative prowess, and passion for excellent service for fatherland.
“Mr. President has by this appointment and subsequent Senate confirmation demonstrated how much he loves Abia and his commitment in giving them a sense of belonging in the management of our country’s affairs.
“Dr. Nyerere is a perfect fit, not just because of his proven track record but as a tested leader and change agent but as someone who is passionate about the welfare of senior citizens especially when they must have finished serving our country meritoriously.
“I’m convinced that the constitution of a new board in PenCom is a significant value addition in President Muhammadu Buhari’s quest for a better post-retirement life for our senior citizens,” he said.
