Human right lawyer and Chairman of Spidel, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Barr. Monday Ubani has been awarded an honourary Doctorate Degree, PhD in Leadership and Advocacy by Kingdom Life Bible College And Seminary International in conjunction with African Centre for Christian Education and Chaplaincy Studies.
Conferment of the PhD Honoris Causa took place in Lagos at the weekend.
The Abia-born vocal lawyer was honoured along with other men and women of repute for their contributions in the development of the Nigerian society in their various areas of endeavour.
Recall that Mr Monday Onyekachi Ubani, better known as MOU among friends was recently elected as the Chairman of Spidel at the just concluded highly successful Conference in Ibadan which ended on the 26th of May, 2021.
His friends and associates have extended goodwill messages to him for this double achievement within a week.
Mr Ubani who expressed gratitude for the honour said it will encourage him in defence of rights of the poor and vulnerable in the society.
He assured that in no distant time, he would commence a PhD in thesis.
