At 80, Gen. Nwachukwu Remains Great National Asset – Rev. Chinebu

APC women leader in Abia State, Rev. Sally Chinebu has congratulated the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gen. Ike Nwachukwu at the occasion of his 80th birthday celebration.

Rev. Chinebu in a felicitation message on Tuesday noted that Gen. Nwachukwu (rtd) has contributed immensely in building an egalitarian Nigerian society, describing him as a great national asset.

“Chief (Gen) Ike Nwachukwu is a man who has distinguished himself in his long years of service to fatherland in various capacities.

“As military personnel, he stood tall as a core professional and deployed the gallantry of his youthful age to help in securing the territorial integrity of our country. As a two-time Minister of Foreign Affairs and a politician of high repute, he remains a perfect example of nationalism, the voice of equity, and good governance.

“I join the hosts of heaven to celebrate you as reach a milestone of 80 years today. You shall live to see the Nigeria you fought for” she said.
