The Appeal Court has declared High Chief Ikechi Emenike the authentic governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia State, ABN TV reports.
The court set aside the judgement of the trial court which declared the immediate past Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah as the party’s governorship candidate in Abia.
Counsel to Dr. Uche Ogah, Barr. Chijioke Udeogu in a swift reaction however rejected the judgement of the Appeal Court, saying the court shifted the duty of discharging the burden of proof to his client (1st Defendant) instead of the appellants (Emenike and APC).
