The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 6, Calabar, AIG Mustapha Mohammed Bala, Psc, on Monday, February 3, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu.

During the visit, Governor Otu warmly received the AIG and commended the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) for his leadership in ensuring security across the nation. The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the police and other security agencies in maintaining the peace and stability for which Cross River State is known.

In response, AIG Mustapha Bala expressed gratitude to the Governor for the warm reception, describing the meeting as a rare and privileged opportunity. He assured the Governor of his dedication to combating violent crimes and criminal activities in the state and the entire Zone 6 jurisdiction.
