The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate withdrawal of the appointment of Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the Acting Rector, Abia College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba.
This comes barely 48 hours after sacking the Rector of the state-owned Polytechnic in Aba, Prof. Okorie Kalu Osonwa.
Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem in a statement on Tuesday said the disengagement of Dr. Kingsley is in view of subsisting security report surrounding his appointment.
“The Governor further directs the appointment of the Head of Department of Public Health, Ezeakolam Nwaogwugwu as the Acting Rector of the college”, the release added.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
