Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has said Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Ivory Coast will be a difficult game.

Nigeria will take on the hosts at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan.

The game will be a repeat of the group stage fixture between both countries which the Eagles won 1-0.

Omeruo believes the final will be difficult, but feels they will do their best to come out with a win.

“We all know how important this game is for our country, for them too (Cote d’Ivoire) it is very important.

“We beat them in the group stage and they will want revenge this time around.

“The crowd will be hostile and will be solidly behind them, but we have the experience to deal with that.

“It’s going to be tough out there, but we will do our best to come out victorious,” Omeruo told reporters at training on Thursday.
