The Nigerian Railway Corporation’s Board of Directors and Management has declared the start of train operations between Abuja and Kaduna.
AbnTv reported that the Abuja-Kaduna train derailment at the Kubwa station had caused the rail line’s operations to be halted.
Niyi Alli, NRC Director of Operations, announced the news in a statement on Monday.
“As a result, the Service will resume on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, with the following daily schedule; KA2 departs Rigasa at 0700.”
“At 10:00 a.m., AK1 departs Idu.
At 13.00, KA4 departs Rigasa”.
“However, on Wednesdays only, KA2 will depart Rigasa at 0700 and AK 3 will depart Idu at 16.00”.
“The Corporation once again regrets any inconvenience our esteemed passengers may have experienced because of the temporary suspension of the service.”
