The Director ABN TV, Ifeanyi Okali has congratulated congratulated the Managing Director/CEO Nigeria Films Corporation, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe at the occasion of his 68th birthday, describing him as a dexterous leader and manager.

He also applauded the initiatives Dr. Maduekwe has brought into the Corporation since his appointment in 2017 which has moved it from once inactive agency to a robust arm in the government’s effort to diversify the economy.

In a birthday message on Friday, Okali said the MD’s effort in repositioning the creative industry as the future of the country has made the audio-visual industry the second largest employer of labour in the country aside agriculture.

He noted that with the visionary he has brought in the sector, it is poised to being a key player in effort to alleviate poverty through massive engagement of young people in this sector.

Okali also praised him over the introduction of Zuma Film Festival which according to him will place the country on the global film calendar as one of the choice places for film tourism.

ABN TV boss further lauded Dr. Maduekwe for attracting the first Nigeria’s collaboration in audio-visual with French government, which he said the country before now never had.

While wishing him God’s love and protection as he marks 68, Okali also urged him to continue to be good ambassador of Abia and the country in general.
