Contrary to the expectations of “Facebook Abians” and global anarchists inhabiting the social media, the burial of HRM Eze I. Kanu and his wife, Ugoeze Sally Kanu, was successfully concluded today without any major incident.
The mourners and security agents conducted themselves very well and our beloved Eze and his wife were given first class honors as expected. The synergy and cooperation witnessed is to the credit of all parties involved including the family of Eze Kanu represented by my brother Emma Kanu and their friends as well as the security agents led by CP Ene Okon.
Meanwhile residents of Umuahia and visitors are currently enjoying the Valentine celebrations this night. So many fun spots are bubbling with good music, good food and comedy. If you are able to identify which part of Umuahia is pictured here, come and be my Val. I am celebrating with my people.
