The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Abia State Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chinaka Maureen Chioma, has been honoured with the prestigious Certificate of Commendation by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, in recognition of her professionalism, discipline, exemplary dedication, and outstanding performance.
ABN TV reports that DSP Chinaka received the award during the recently concluded Nigeria Police Awards and Commendation Ceremony held in Abuja.
Expressing her gratitude, DSP Chinaka stated, “I am deeply honored to have received the IGP Commendation and award for my role as the Police Public Relations Officer, Abia State Command. I am most grateful to God Almighty, who gives life, shows mercy, grants grace, and bestows favor.”
She extended her appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police and the Force Public Relations Officer for their unwavering support and encouragement. She also lauded the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi, for his continuous mentorship and belief in her work.
“To my professional PRO colleagues, the officers of the PPRD, Abia State Command, and my coursemates — thank you! We are better together, challenging one another and cheering for each other as we improve daily,” she added.
DSP Chinaka also acknowledged the immense support of her family and friends. “To my humble self, I appreciate the love, passion, enthusiasm, and hard work that have brought me this far. As the IGP rightly said in his speech, I carry this award not in pride, but with prestige, challenging myself to do even better.”
