Senator Orji Uzor kalu, the senator representing the good people of Abia North Senatorial Zone and the chief whip of the senate, is not one that plays to the gallery his antecedents and actions especially in infrastructure, capital and human developments speaks for themselves.
In less than 4 years as the senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, he has attracted massive infrastructural projects ranging from road construction, renovation and construction of schools, provision of both motorised and solar powered boreholes, Distribution of Educational materials, provision and Electrification of rural communities ETC, across Abia North and Umunneochi in particular
In reality it takes only a person with the wide range of contacts and connections, nationwide appeal, acceptance, and a go getter to attract the kind of massive infrastructural development, Chief Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has attracted to Abia North, no wonder he was awarded the best senator on constituency projects by the Nigerian senate press corps for 2020 and 2021, two times in a row, a feet unprecedented for a first time senator
In Umunneochi for instance, the senator has started and completed numerous projects which includes, the 2km Akawa to Aroikpa road, the 2km Amuba to Ebelebe road, the renovation of umuelem central school, Eziama central school Nneato, Ngodo state primary School and umuaku central school isuochi.
The senator has also provided and installed motorised borehole at obinisi village square Amuda isuochi, Ezioba Eziama Nneato and umuacha village square
Just this year alone the senator has attracted about 8 roads only for Umunneochi, he has also captured Umunneochi LGA as one of the beneficiaries for the provision and installation of solar street lights in select communities in Umunneochi LGA
Some of the roads in Umunneochi that has been captured and which work is expected to start in few months time are;
1.Construction of 1km rural roads in Ogwumabiri, Isuochi
2.construction of 1km rural road at Umuaku Isuochi.
3.Construction of 1km rural roads at lekwesi, Umuchieze
4.construction of 1km road at Obilorji Isuochi
5. construction of road with asphalt at umueze to umudim Isuochi.
6. Construction of 1km rural road at Amauba obulo Nneato
7.construction of 1km rural at Ubahu Nneato
8. Construction of road with asphalt at Aroikpa, Umunneochi.
On the free Distribution of Educational materials across various schools in Abia north, Umunneochi LGA has benefited immensely too.

There is also a plan to cover more schools in Umunneochi and the whole Abia North sometime this year as those have been captured in the Zonal intervention program of the senator for 2022.
In a nutshell, no senator of Abia North has done more and is still doing for Umunneochi like Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
Umunneochi people are indeed wiser and can Distinguish the chaffs from the grain especially now that some people that has nothing to show for their time at the Red Chambers except frying pan empowerment and half baked renovation of classrooms are coming back with interactive sessions and empty promises
