A commercial tricycle driver, popularly called Keke in Umuahia, Abia State capital simply identified as Chijindu has returned a passenger’s misplaced mobile phone found in his Keke despite losing his previous tricycle.

He said losing his keke to suspected thieves is not enough reason to convert a passenger’s phone to his.

Sharing the story on his Facebook page, the owner of the misplaced phone, Mr. Ebony Inyamah a professional photographer expressed happiness for getting it back, saying there are still good people in Abia.

According to Inyamah, he only noticed that the phone was no more with him after he had arrived the church, prompting him to call the phone in expectation that anyone in the custody of it would answer.

Lock however came his way when Mr. Chijindu with the phone number 08167051406 called a number found in the phone which belongs to a member of Inyamah’s church who directed him where to return the phone.

He said, I lost my phone and the person that picked it returned it back….. Even though they stole his Keke yet he returned a phone he saw in his Keke. The Keke guy is from umuobasi Umuahia. Chijindu 08167051406 please call him and thank him for me….may God bless him.

Last week I called my mechanic to come to the house and carry my car for servicing. While I was busy with work that I was doing. So I waited till evening around 5pm I started calling the mechanic to know if he has finished so he can bring back the car, but he was not picking up, so when our men’s leader called me to remind me of the men’s meeting I rushed out and entered Keke to church, even right in the Keke I was also calling the mechanic he wasn’t picking.

“So when I came down from I left my phone in the Keke.. so when I got to church I noticed I was just with one phone I started looking for the other one, it was then I realized I left it in Keke. And the battery was low, I started calling the number it wasn’t going, I called my pastor and he prayed and said I will see it and said Amen. I did everything that day called my police friend for tracking and all to no avail.

“I came to church on Sunday and my pastor Ifeanyi Sunday told me after church that in the next 24hours I will see the phone that person with the phone will call me to take it….. And just just as prophesied yesterday evening being Monday the good samaritan the Keke guy started calling a number he saw on the phone and happens to be a sister in the church a family friend cheta, she now called me and we rushed to where the guy asked us to come out and he gave us The phone, and said he is also looking for his Keke that the stole from him and yet he will see someones thing in his Keke and he will return it…..”
