A former councillor in Obieze – Isu Ancient Kingdom, Arochukwu LGA Abia State, late Hon. Kenneth Okore Kalu Okore who passed on Tuesday 26 September 2023 after a brief illness has been laid to rest amidst tears.
Hon. Okore who passed away at the age of 34 was laid to rest in his community on Friday where friends and family gathered to bid him farewell.
The scene was sober as the pregnant widow of the late former councillor, his family members and loved ones wept uncontrollably as he was being lowered to the mother earth as his final journey commenced.
Members of his community and friends attested to how his brief stay on earth impacted their lives positively.

He was considered as one of the youngest councillors in his his local government and was said to have made a significant impact.
People who spoke at the funeral expressed shock over the death of Hon. Okore after a brief illness, wondering why good things do not last.
His funeral service was conducted by the Prophetic Grace Liberation Ministry and others.
