Rivers –  Three persons have been crushed to death by heavy duty trucks at Akpajo, Eleme, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The incident occurred on Thursday 15th August.
Eyewitness, Fyneface Fyneface said “collapsed bridge on the East-West road and attendant traffic jam”, caused the loss.
Another eyewitness, Nornubari Kote, claimed that impatient truck drivers crushed the trio to death.
Kote said the deceased persons were trekking and trying to manoeuvre their way in-between the trucks in the hold- up.
“The persons are said to have been trekking as a result of hold up on the said road and were crushed to death by impatient truck drivers.”
The identities of the deceased persons could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
The corpses, full of blood, were seen under the trailers’ tyres as shown in these pictures.
