Labour Party’s Abia North Senatorial candidate, Chief David Ogba Onuoha, popularly known as Bourdex, has declared that the party in Abia North is united, organised and prepared to secure victory in the 2027 general elections.
Addressing stakeholders during the Abia North Labour Party Strategic Summit in Abiriba, Bourdex said the successful conclusion of the party’s primary elections marked the beginning of a new phase of collective political engagement.
He praised the recent gathering of professionals, traditional leaders and stakeholders under the Alliance for Good Governance in Abia State, describing their endorsement of Governor Alex Otti’s administration as a demonstration of patriotism.
The senatorial candidate stressed that Labour Party tickets belong to the entire party rather than individual candidates.
According to him, victory in 2027 must become a shared responsibility involving ward executives, polling unit officials, youths, women and community leaders.
Bourdex called on party members to begin immediate strategic planning across every ward and polling unit, insisting that organisation, unity and discipline would determine electoral success.
He pledged to work closely with stakeholders to attract development, create opportunities for young people and consolidate the achievements already recorded by the Alex Otti administration.
