The governor said if this happens, it would be unprecedented in the political history of Nigeria, as no presidential candidate has ever won in all 36 states.
Aiyedatiwa stated this at the inauguration of SWAGA 2.0, organised by a pro-Tinubu political group, the South West Agenda for Asiwaju, in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Wednesday.
The group is headed by the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Senator Dayo Adeyeye.
In his remarks at the event, the governor said no opposition could stop Tinubu’s landslide victory in the forthcoming poll.
According to him, no opposition could stop the President’s second-term bid in next year’s election, noting that Tinubu had saved Nigeria from collapse through his ongoing economic and sectoral reforms.
He added that because Tinubu had performed creditably in governance, many governors in opposition parties had joined him in moving Nigeria forward.
Aiyedatiwa said, “The economy was on the verge of collapse when Tinubu came on board. It was almost collapsing at a time when crude oil was being used to borrow money and naira was being printed. So, the work will be easier now for SWAGA, especially with what we have seen in the political space in Nigeria.
“Those who have not joined us do not have a national spread, so we can leave them in their parties.
“What I am trying to say is that the whole nation has seen the quality of the President that we have, and there is no alternative now. That is why everybody has decided to join the President’s party. He is the leader of our party.
These are the kind of people that worsen things in Nigeria by leading the clueless and incompetent President ion.So you really believe that with the level of corruption,insecurity and poverty in nigeria,Tinubu will win any state if there is free and fair election.You are dying this because the rigging mechanics are already in motion.Yiu can’t see how the country is messed up and bleeding to death.We are watching.
