Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed appreciation to the fans for their massive support in the team’s 4-0 win over Ethiopia on Tuesday in a 2024 Olympic games qualifiers at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.

Recall that Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored a brace in the encounter while Asisat Oshoala and Uchenna Kanu scored a goal apiece.

The first leg of the tie ended 1-1 in Addis Ababa last week Wednesday.

With the win, the Super Falcons have qualified for the next round of the CAF Olympic Games qualifying series.

Nnadozie who was in goal throughout the encounter took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to celebrate her team’s victory.

Nnadozie made her debut for the Super Falcons in 2018 and she has made over 20 appearances for the squad ever since.

The Nigerian team will now play the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the next stage of qualification for the Olympics.

The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France from July 26 to August 11 next year.

The Super Falcons have been unable to qualify for the last three editions of the Olympics.
