The Senator Representing Imo North Senatorial District, Engr. Ndubueze Patrick has pledged to serve and remain accountable to the people of the Okigwe zone.

According to his media aide David Nwokorie, he made the commitment on Tuesday during a get-together with the people of the zone at the International Conference Center in Abuja after being inaugurated as a member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s tenth Senate.

Sen. Ndubueze noted that Okigwe made the finest decision in appointing him to represent them in the red chamber. He assured the zone’s constituents of his commitment to providing equitable and transparent representation.

Sen. Ndubueze thanked the people of Okigwe for their love for, as well as belief and confidence in him which he said will never be compromised or taken for granted.

He further stated that with his contributions to the party and his role as a major policy broker, Okigwe was assured of an unprecedented wave of development across all sectors.

He went on to affirm that he was a representative whose most important interest was to offer an all-inclusive, cohesive, and transparent representation. He reiterated that he has been elected to serve and that he was eager to offer the dividends of service to his people.

The Senator, who had previously asked for a one-minute silence in memory of those who died in a vehicle crash on their way to Abuja for the inauguration, prayed for strength for the victims’ families, adding that God will grant eternal peace to their souls.
