BREAKING!! One Gunned Down as Abia First Lady’s Convoy Foils Robbery Attack

The popular saying that everyday is for the thief and one day for the owner came to play on Thursday when the Convoy of the Wife of the Governor of Abia State Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu foiled a robbery attack along Okigwe axis of the Enugu -Portharcourt expressway, killing at least one person.

An eye witness who confirmed the development to PUO REPORTS via a text message said the armed Robbers who were operating with a Power bike just before the army check point while coming from Umuahia had already succeeded in dispossessing motorists their belongings before the arrival of the convoy of the Wife of the Abia State Governor Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu.

It was gathered that the Security details attached to the wife of the Abia State Governor on arrival at the scene engaged the armed robbers in a gun battle and succeeded in killing one of the criminals while others escaped with injuries.

ABN TV learnt that the Wife of the Governor of Abia State was on her way to Abakiliki,the Ebonyi State Capital where the meeting of the South East Governors Wives Forum will be taking place.

Nnamdi Kanu’s Facebook Page Shut Down

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Thursday said the Facebook page of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been shut down.

The group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, in a statement, alleged that the action was taken by Facebook Nigeria who, it said viewed the page as a platform to exposing the ills in government.

It warned that Biafra had suffered greatly as a result of denial of media space in the late 60s, saying it could not afford to allow same to continue in the 21st century.

The statement reads in part: “We can confirm that Facebook Nigeria has shut down the page of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“This is not unconnected with the fact that our leader’s page has become a rich resource for those determined to expose the evil regime in Nigeria and enthrone a better life for the masses.

“We mince no words when we say that Facebook Nigeria is more corrupt that the corrupt government they are seeking to protect.

“Biafra suffered immeasurably as a result of denial of media space in the late 60s a situation we are not prepared to allow in this 21st century.”

The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) Worldwide has solicited for the return of Bakassi boys in the South East as a regional security outfit to checkmate activities of Herdsmen, Armed Robbers, Kidnappers and other social vices in the region.

The Council in a statement obtained by ABN TV and jointly signed by the President General Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike said the new nomenclature for the security outfit will be Otawike.

The youth group also advocated for peace and unity of purpose among Igbo leaders to move the region forward.

The group expressed regret that lack of unity among political leaders in the region has affected the political fortune of Ndigbo, maintaining that there is need for all parties to unite.

Frequent S£x May Help Delay Menopause – Research

Scientists have said that frequent s£x can help delay menopause beyond the average age since it keeps the body and the hormones active.

Menopause is usually diagnosed after twelve months without menstruation and usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 47, with the average age being 51.

The study conducted by the University College London and published by Royal Society Open Medicine suggests that if you have a full s£xual life, you will end up keeping your body and hormones active, which as a result will keep you fertile.

They further said that if a woman is not having s£x, the body will therefore ‘choose’ to stop secreting energy into ovulation and invest the resources into existing skin therefore resulting in menopause.

“During ovulation, the woman’s immune function is impaired, making the body more susceptible to disease. Hence, if a pregnancy is unlikely owing to a lack of s£xual activity, then it would not be beneficial to allocate energy to a costly process, especially if there is the option to invest resources into existing kin,” according to the researchers.

Scientists who conducted the study said they recruited 2,936 women aged 42-52, with the researchers tracking their s£xual activities for ten years, as well as their menopause status.

The researchers gathered that women of any age who had s£x each week had 28% less chances of experiencing menopause at the age of 52, while those who had s£x less than once a month have higher chances of experiencing menopause at the average age of 51.

However, when the British National Health Service (NHS) reviewed the research, it said the study does not prove having more s£x directly delay menopause.

“The study only shows a link between how often women had s£x and their age at menopause. It cannot prove that having more s£x directly causes a later menopause.”

Meanwhile, Vicky Rhodes, 59 said she still have periods and has never experienced a hot flush, nor a symptom of hormonal change, as she links it to her frequent s£x with lover jack, 49.

She told Daily Mail that the research has helped her to understand why she still see her menstrual flow despite her age.

According to her: “At last, I think I know what’s been going on, because the years when I might have expected to go through the menopause were taken up with a passionate affair.”

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that most of the officials in the Buhari-led government will not only go to jail but also go to hell if the entire government is investigated for corruption. According to him, this government is by far enmeshed in corruption.

He said this in an interview with BBC Yoruba. While comparing his former Vice President and PDP Presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar with President Buhari, the former President said though Atiku is not a messiah, he would have done far better than President Buhari if given the opportunity.

“What I am saying is that where we are today, our present situation, if you look at those who are there today and our boss, I insist that Atiku will do better than them.

This is not a prophecy. Those in government today, if we expose them, all of them will enter hell; they will not only go to jail. They will go to hell. Whoever that God does not expose his sins to the public is the person whose secret is kept.
I did not say he will behave like Jesus. I did not say he will behave like Prophet Muhammed, but he will do better, in fact twice better than what we have at present.” he said

Speaking further, the former president accused President Buhari of nepotism.

“Look at what is happening, the person that is leading us says he cannot appoint any other tribes into the posts he considers sensitive because he does not trust them. If he cannot trust my tribe and your tribe what is the benefit? And he still wants my tribe and your tribe to vote for him. So, he can ask us to vote for him but he cannot trust us to be appointed into sensitive positions. What is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander.
“If you don’t trust us, how do you want me to trust you? If you trust me and I misbehave replace me with another person. But if only your maternal and paternal relatives are the only people you can appoint because they are the only people you can trust…
“In Nigeria, where we have tribes numbering about 500, you now said you could not trust some people. That is what we are saying.” he said

Recall that Obasanjo has at several times written open letters to President Buhari expressing his displeasure in his government, During the 2019 presidential election, Obasanjo openly campaigned against President Buhari.

There was pandemonium on Thursday following the mysterious disappearance of a middle aged man’s penis in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, ABN TV reports.

Trouble started when the victim identified as Papa Ejima raised the alarm around Oboro Street by Niger area of Umuahia, saying that his penis disappeared immediately after a Nigerien, a tigernut seller whose name is Ismahoo touched him in his manhood region.

This ABN TV gathered attracted the attention of other residents who threatened to kill the accuse person if he fails to return the manhood.

He appealed to them to spare him, saying his father who is in Niger will return the manhood.

“I came to this man’s shop to buy minerals, I’ve known him for five years now, I sat down at his shop drinking the mineral and noticed the size of his penis, jokingly I asked him what is this? He said its penis, I told him to marry two wives that his penis is big touching it and he said no. I asked for my change and left with his penis”, Ismahoo said.

It took the intervention of men of the Nigerian police who came to whisk the accused person away to escape mob action.
