“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

“Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” It added.

Coronavirus: Bishop Oyedepo Shuns Directive, Attacks Govt Over Closure Of Schools, Malls

0

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel has criticized the government over the closure of schools in Nigeria.

Most states in Nigeria as on Friday ordered the closure of schools till further notice as the country battles the spread of Coronavirus.

Also, the Lagos government canceled gathering of more than 20 person after new cases were recorded on Saturday bringing a total number of cases in Nigeria to 25.

But, Oyedepo who held a service on Sunday and shunned government directive on religious gatherings, said the closure of schools was not the right decision by the government in curbing the spread of Coronavirus.

According to him, the only disease that has no cure is hunger.

Oyedepo said: “May God help our policymakers to make the right decision in finding solution to this scourge called Coronavirus.

“How can you close the school and ask them to go home.

“You are sending them for where they are more secured to where they would be exposed to the disease.

“You are sending them away from where they are not more than 20 back home to go and sell pepper for their mothers in the market where there are more people.

“You block people from having access to malls in the name of preventing a disease but you don’t know that the only disease that doesn’t have cure is hunger.

“May God help our leaders to make the right decision in search of a solution to this pandemic.”

Oyedepo had earlier said the cure for COVID-19 will be out soon and nations will rejoice.

I Don’t Want Someone Else To “Enjoy” Her, Man Who Impregnates His Daughter Confesses

0

A 48-year-old farmer, Theddius Audu, has impregnated his 15-year-old daughter Justina in Wuyeya, Nasarawa State.

According to the report, Audu took up the sole responsibility of his daughter’s upbringing after his marriage to Talatu Ayi, which ended 13 years ago.

The decision eventually resulted in a pregnancy, as Justina is 4 months gone already. The man said he always felt the pain of someone “toasting” his beautiful daughter and enjoying after he went through difficulties to raise her.

His words: “She looks beautiful and I always feel the pains that one day, someone else will toast her and start enjoying what I suffered all these years to raise.

It started as a joke. I don’t know what came over me; she tried to resist me but I was very harsh on her and she allowed me to have my way. Thereafter, we continued unabated.

I actually wanted to test her virginity status, to know whether she had started going out with boys but when she told me she missed her period, I decided that she should not abort it.

She should deliver the baby for me since I don’t have any other child. Thereafter, she can get married to anybody of her choice. This was the secret arrangement we had and I don’t know why she is exposing it now. That is the much I can say about it.”.

On her part, Justina said; “God has inflicted a permanent wound on me; there is absolutely no point keeping me alive. I think I should just commit suicide and die, rather than continue living to bear this shameful burden.

God has not been fair to me and I don’t know my sin or offense. My mother left me when I was barely two years old; and up till now, hasn’t taken as much as a second look back.

I felt very bad but he warned me that nobody must hear what he did to me. He also threatened to slaughter me with a knife if he heard it from anybody.

That was how he kept sleeping with me at night and eventually got me pregnant. How I wish my mother were around; this shameful thing would not have happened to me. It is incredible; my world and life have crumbled.”

SAD!! Man Slumps, Dies On His Wedding Day

There are a thousand and one reasons why many slump to their death. In 2016, D r. Aderinwale of Precise medical centre shared in an interview with Encomium magazine that hypertension, cardiac failure, head trauma, homological conditions like epilepsy, diabetes, hypoglycemia, internal or external bleeding can make one slump which eventually can lead to death.

Also, stress, high blood pressure and poor diet can be a major trigger for such unfortunate occurrences. Medical doctors advise that you go for regular checkups when due and try to manage your health condition appropriately.

We hope the bride to be and the families and friends involved have the fortitude to bear the loss. This is indeed a rather unfortunate and painful event. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
