Chief Amobi Ogah

Distinguished young entrepreneur and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah turns 40 today the 6th day of June 2020.

At the youthful age of 40 Chief Amobi Ogah has shone like a Golden Fish and has continued to soar to an enviable position far above his peers. His accomplishments cut across the business and political landscapes, such that many politicians including business entrepreneurs crave to attain his position.

Many politicians aspire to be like him. Some envy his influence. But, the road to success is not paved with roses. How many of them can pay the price to pass through the same furnace?

Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah, accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a man of significant struggles and exploits, who has journeyed the thorny path to eminence.

His courage, agility, concordance, foresight, zeal, vibrance, intuition,  tolerance, forbearance, focus, and risk-taking are legendary. The strength of this budding and youthful political leader rests in his progressive-minded nature, entrepreneurship, empowerment, capacity to mobilize at the grassroots, belief in the strength of youths, generosity, honesty,  rule of law, and his undiluted passion for public welfare.

The chronicle of the enthralling growth of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State will be incomplete without the mentioning of Chief Amobi Ogah due to his immense contributions to the party in the state, most especially in Isuikwuato, Umuneochi LGA where he hails from.

Since joining the APC  in 2015 Amobi has devoted and still devoting his unflinching commitment to the party’s efficacy in the state which includes his material, intellectual and financial resources.

He has remained undaunted in building the party at the grassroots level in his constituency and the state at large vis a vis his empowerment, philanthropic, and job creation initiatives.

Born today in 1980, Amobi ogah, sits as the Chief Executive Officer of Pauli mama Group of Companies with interests in Oil and Gas, Departmental Stores, Eatery, Agriculture, Construction, Fashion, Hospitality, Oil Haulage Company, and LPG.

The successful young entrepreneur is an employee of labour amongst other companies as his Pauli-Mama group has over 3000 direct and indirect workers.

Amobi Ogah, a committed advocate of continuous education, after his primary and post-primary education, studied Economics. In his quest for more knowledge, he bagged various professional certificates in addition to the various local and international conferences he has attended aimed at enriching his intellect.

The consummate Economist and successful industrialist bagged his Executive MBA professional qualification in addition to his membership of the chartered institute of Economics.

When it comes to philanthropy Chief  Amobi created the Amobi Ogah Foundation through which a countless number of youths have been empowered by skill acquisition, job facilitation, and financial support, just to mention a few.

Chief Amobi inspired by his passion for the development of youths has been providing assistance to lots of youths in Isuikwuato, Umuneochi LGA, and Abia State at large in the various fields they wish to embark on.

The elderly are not also left behind as the Amobi Ogah Foundation has been of immense contribution towards the empowerment of elderly women and men across and within Abia State.

Chief Amobi also known as the Grassroots Mobilizer, since joining the APC has taken the party in Abia from zero to a significant level which was eminently reflected in the increased number of votes cast in the last general election.

His UGO Abia political structure is fast becoming a political household in the state and beyond has also spurred the membership drive of the APC in Abia State.

Chief Amobi has undertaken many tasks for the APC in both the state and at national levels which are not limited to being an executive organizing committee member of the APC Presidential and Governahip rallies in Abia State. He has also participated in various committees at the National level.

Without dispute, Amobi is critical to future political leadership assignments.  he’s an exemplary personality who exudes the characteristics of how political leaders should emerge by having a viable source of living before venturing into politics.

He may have become the main issue in Abia politics as many expect him to play greater roles. The question, therefore, is whether you are with him or not.

The young dexterous political mobiliser cum entrepreneur contested to represent the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi at the House of Representatives in the 2019  general elections.

Prior to his formal declaration, the young entrepreneur and politician had received numerous endorsements from various socio-political groups as the right man to take over the advocacy affairs of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal constituency at the green chambers.

In what can be described as the icing on the cake was when the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isuikwuato local government area of Abia state unanimously endorsed his candidacy.

To the admiration of all, Chief Amobi formally presented himself to embark on a Salvation Journey to the Federal House of Representatives Isuikwuato/Umunneochi at a grand declaration rally held on August 6, 2019.

The ever-pragmatic Chief Amobi attracted distinguished party stakeholders to grace the rally which was a very rare feat. The massive rally had the attendance of former governor of the state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, APC National Vice Chairman South East Emmanuel Omachkwu, APC State Working Committee members, APC Abia North Zonal Chairman Chief Chris Ajah, and other party leaders including friends and supporters.

Chief Amobi’s grand rally sent a strong statement that he is fully in-ground and in direct touch with his people. This was a result of the unprecedented mammoth crowd that besieged the rally ground.

Chief Amobi can be described in many ways as a determined young man, highly intellectual, amiable, and distinctively pragmatic in his approach. He is a 21st-century politician whose ideals are people-centric, a bridge builder, and has constantly been building bridges between the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi. This has earned him uncommon love and adoption from both Isuikwuato and Umunneochi at the grassroots know especially amongst the youths.

Chief Amobi is a young man whose innate “humility” despite his wealth and affluence knows no bounds. The pragmatic intellectually sound young man whose political renaissance has become a household brand in not just Isuikwuato/Umunneochi but Abia State.

The political career of Amobi has continued to project with rocket speed and his massive influence in the APC has shown no stoppage sign. His 2019 aspiration can be described as a game changer in the Abia Political sphere due to so many reasons.

When it comes to leadership Chief Amobi jauntily possesses three major characteristics that make him a Golden Fish which: Youthful, Established employer of Labour and Leadership skilled, and an unrivaled modest character. Amobi is a leader who sees himself as every other person. His commitment to the development of the party at all the ward levels has been very commendable and I can say confidently that he has paid his dues.

He demonstrates a peripatetic attitude in search of progress for the sake of the welfare of people. Chief Amobi also possesses a highly distinguished human relation approach with the ability to keep in touch with people and relate with everyone around him on the same level regardless of age, sex, religious, tribal, or economic differences despite is wealth and pedigree as if they are the same.

He comes with a burning desire for humanitarian and public service. He is a man of high rectitude who would rather “teach you how to fish rather than give you fish” this is based his empowerment ideology. It is on record that Chief Amobi Godwin. Little wonder his name has become a recurring decimal in the political space of Abia.

As he celebrates his 40th birthday today, the astute businessman and politician will again be on the frontline of discussions.

However, Amobi and his associates will not roll out drums. There will be no event to celebrate and honour the young leader, seasoned businessman, and progressive arrowhead due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Amobi will today be in deep thought as regards the welfare of his people he will be neck-deep in brainstorming and problem-solving.

Today’s celebrant encapsulates the time-tested philosophy of service premised on the evergreen populist welfare. It is driven by the permanent and non-negotiable devotion to the creed of progressive welfarism in a polity still struggling to resolve the multiple crises of nation-building.

The successful employer of labour is always bubbling with energy, zeal, enthusiasm, and optimism. This may have been bedrock of his successes in his chosen fields of endeavor. There is no evidence to show that Amobi Ogah was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Amobi Ogah was unanimously bestowed with a chieftaincy title by the Ezes in the 24 Communities in Uturu as the AGU N’ECHE IBE 1 of Uturu Ancient Kingdom. He also received so many community service awards which include the Gold services award by Rotary Club International Etc.

Today is to celebrate a man who has confronted many obstacles with uncanny boldness and bravery on the long, narrow, and tortious path to the limelight, and survived through the dint of hard work and divine grace.

The consummate politician understands, not only the language of politics, which, is a great deal of struggle, competition, and antagonism, but also the logic of power,  which in his consistent view, is not served a la carte.
, and reconciliation. He is ready to bow to superior arguments and has a listening ear.

The celebrant will remain in the spotlight in a very long time to come and is indeed a man to watch, he is no doubt a source of inspiration to the younger generation. His pedigree, sagacity, tenacity of purpose, hard work, resilience, courage, and loyalty to worthy progressive will continue to serve as sources of inspiration to the younger generation in the vineyard of people-oriented, welfarist politics.

Born in Onuaku Uturu, in Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State, Amobi Ogah is married to his beautiful wife Lolo Onyekachukwu Maureen Ogah and they are blessed with four lovely children.

As tributes pour in today for Amobi Ogah as he turns 40 it rests assured that it is just beginning and the best is yet to come.

Happy Birthday Amobi Ogah.
