“I Accept My Fate” Says Rev. Okoroafor After His Sack By Assemblies Of God Church Over Alleged Adultery

0

The General Superintendent, Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Chidi Okoroafor has said he accept his suspension and sack by the church.

Okoroafor, according to Daily Post, was dismissed as a Minister after the leadership of the church considered a report of his alleged immoral relationship with a United States, US, based woman, Mrs Maurrissal Nwosu.

His dismissal was announced during the church’s General Committee emergency sitting on Friday.

The Panel which Investigated Okoroafor was headed by a former Lagos District Superintendent, Rev Isaac Mpamugo.

The Mpamugo-led panel was said to have established an immoral relationship between Okoroafor and Nwosu which it said was contrary to Biblical principles and the Constitution and Bye-Laws of Assemblies of God Nigeria.

The Executive Committee of the church also ordered him to hand over all Assemblies of God properties in his possession.

A top member of the church who confirmed the development, however, claimed that Okoroafor was not given a fair hearing.

Yes, our boss, the GS has been suspended, though he was not given fair hearing, even the woman at the centre of it all was not invited. But he has accepted it, he has handed everything to God,” he said in confidence.

Following Okoroafor’s dismissal, the church has empowered Rev Ejikeme EJim to take over as Acting General Superintendent.

Recall that the church has been under crisis for many years now, during which a former General Superintendent, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka was chased out of its national secretariat in Enugu State.

A former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has urged people of the Southeast to put an end to their call for a Biafra republic which he described as “buried”, and trust in Nigeria.

He was reacting to the commendation that greeted the decision of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe to oppose the senate’s approval of $22.79bn external loan requested by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Senate had approved the loan after a heated debate which led to a closed-door executive session.

Speaking during the debate, Abaribe had tackled the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan for “shutting out the rest of the senate members on the approval of the loan.”

Abaribe had said: “We are going to pass a loan of $22.7billion for which we are being denied the privilege to express our reservations. You are putting us in a very impossible position.

“There are some aspect of this loan that we object to. I want to ask on behalf of our colleagues here that we take these items one by one and vote on them.”

“I want to quote one popular saying that he who goes a borrowing, goes a borrowing.”

However, Garba in a tweet, wrote: “Our brothers from the South East are happily celebrating Senator Abaribe for his effective representation, you know why?

“Because he joined party politics, won election through the law. So he represents Most of you can too, just stop following the buried Biafra trust in Nigeria.”

How Pastor Adeboye Made Me Bayelsa Governor, Diri Reveals

0

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State revealed that it was the prayers of Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, that made his mandate recovery possible.

The Governor revealed this at the just concluded Holy Ghost night at the Redemption Camp on Friday 6 March.

Like Nicodemus who sneaked in at night to see Jesus at night to ask pressing questions, Diri gave a testimony that while still fighting his electoral battle in court, he travelled to see Adeboye at night for prayers.

Diri, dressed in white Niger Delta top, said with enthusiasm:

“Praise the Lord! Brethren, I contested in the governorship election in Bayelsa State in November 2019 and thereafter I was alleged to have lost the election.

“I promptly rejected those results and continued with the judicial process in Nigeria.

“During the process, I visited this church on the 11th of December during the programme of the Great Turn Around.

“After the service, I went to see Daddy G.O midnight. He prayed for me and thereafter, he said, ‘It is well. Go and when you receive it, come back to the church’.

“The judicial processes continued until the 13th of February about 24 hours to the swearing-in ceremony of the alleged winner. Brethren, a miracle was accomplished. The Supreme Court declared me the winner of that election.

“I have come to return the glory to Him(God) and to Him alone.

“I want to thank Daddy G.O. and all of you who stood with me in prayers.

“Today, I am the governor of Bayelsa State.”

“I Was Raped By Armed Robbers At 15, My S£x Life Was Messed Up Until I Got Married” — Actress Padita Agu

0

Divorced Nollywood actress, Padita Agu, recently shocked her fans when she revealed that she was raped at the age of 15, right inside her house.

Speaking on her YouTube Channel, the single mother of one who has found a new passion in vlogging, recounted how armed robbers assaulted her.

She said, “I was raped at 15. We were attacked by armed robbers in the house and I got raped. That was my first experience and it was horrible. I had no therapy. Nobody talked to me or talked me through it. I just lived with it and dealt with it myself. I didn’t know how to deal with. I just carried on with life from that point. My sex life was messed up until I got married. Before I got married, I told my would-be husband the challenge I had. He said there was no problem and he would walk me through it.”

On how she was able to overcome her aversion for sex, Agu said, “When we got married, my then-husband just got me a book to read and figure myself out. It was a big issue for me. I got frustrated at some point because he was always not happy about it, too. I was depressed for most times because of this. I didn’t know what to do. I tried practising what I read in the book I was given but it was not working.

“So one day, out of frustration, I reached out to a woman who sold food items not too far from where I lived back then. I started telling her my frustrations with sex. She told me she was once like that before and told me the simple things she did. She told me that whenever she was having sex, she would begin to moan and give the husband the impression that she was enjoying it. Whatever he does to her, she would heighten it. At the beginning, she was just acting it up but after a while, she realised that she was beginning to feel the things she was acting.

“What I picked from that was that words are powerful. When she started saying those words, she didn’t mean them; she was just saying those things for him to enjoy it. Later, her words became her reality and she started enjoying sex. I learnt from her and began to put into practice what she said. At first, it didn’t look like it was working but I kept on doing it and the story is different today,” she said
