Why I Won’t Advise Conte To Sign Neymar - Ambrose

Former Newcastle United star, Darren Ambrose has insisted that he won’t advise Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte to sign Neymar even if he decides to join for free.

Ambrose said that while many clubs would jump at the chance to sign the Brazil international, Tottenham will never go for him.

RMC Sport reports that the only clubs who could afford the Brazilian are Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle should he leave.

Ambrose pointed out that Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte will inevitably clash with Neymar and that the forward would struggle for game time in north London.

Asked if he’d have Neymar at Tottenham, Ambrose said: “No, I wouldn’t.

“I don’t think he’d play, to be honest. I don’t think he’d get on with Antonio Conte.

“I’m not saying it because of his ability, he’s a talented footballer, I’m saying it because of what I think he’d bring to Tottenham.”

Manchester United may try to sign Neymar if Cristiano Ronaldo decides to leave this summer, according to RMC.

Ronaldo is dissatisfied with the club’s transfer activity, so his future at Old Trafford is still in doubt.

The 37-year-old was United’s lone reliable goal scorer last season, and Erik ten Hag would have a sizable gap to fill in his absence.

United is one of the few teams in the world of football that would be able to sign Neymar this summer if he were to eventually leave.

Access To Finance For Women Will Transform Africa’s Food System - AfDB

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) has stated that access to finance for women will bolster inclusivity in Africa and narrow the global hunger gap.

This was stated on Sunday by Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, director-general, West Africa regional development, and business delivery office of the bank, via a telephone interview with NAN.

Quoting Africa’s gender index, Akin-Olugbade said only 23 percent of women have access to finance in the continent.

She said the bank, in partnership with its partners, had rolled out the Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa (AFAWA) to bridge the finance gap.

“AFAWA is a pan-African initiative, which we have gotten partners to join the initiative, and the objective is to bridge the $42 million financing gap,” she said.

“We are going to leverage on a number of financial instruments to add advisory services to really ensure successful implementation of the projects that we are going to deploy.

“We are going to provide technical training for women entrepreneurs and managerial skills. موقع مراهنات

“We really believe that with some of these activities, working with the government to support legal, policy, and regulatory reforms will really help to reduce barriers to women in finance.

“This is one of the initiatives that we need to bridge the finance gap women are facing.”

Akin-Olugbade added that the bank had approved close to half a billion dollars of lending to 2,000 women entrepreneurs.

She said the AFAWA initiative is working on a two-year advisory project in Cote d’Ivoire in consultation with the government and some financial institutions to empower women.

“We are going to have more than 300 women farmers-led organizations in the crops sector, and the women cooperatives will be linked to agriculture finance and digital platform so that they will be able to market their agriculture products,” Akin-Olugbade said.

“This way, post-harvest losses can be reduced quickly.

“We are also in partnership with Ecobank in Ghana to change the agriculture landscape to transition women entrepreneurs into the formal sector. رهانات الخيول

“What we have in Ghana is the $20 million AFAWA project that we call financing climate-resilient agriculture practices.

“In this project, we are targeting about 400 women-led small and medium enterprises, and with this, we can have a multiplier of 100 because we think we can reach about 400,000 beneficiaries. تنزيل اموال حقيقية

Primate Ayodele Reveals Reason Behind Nigeria’s Insecurity

The brutal killing of Nigeria’s former head of state Tafawa Balewa, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, is to blame for the unrest in the nation.

According to Primate Ayodele, Tafawa Balewa’s murder placed a curse on the nation that will always have an impact on its political stability.

He revealed this while discussing the origins of Nigeria’s security issues.

The clergyman claimed that if Nigeria is to remain united and experience stability, the curse must be broken in a statement made by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho.

He mentioned that praying to God can break the curse.

According to Ayodele: “The murder of Tafawa Balewa has placed a curse on Nigeria which is affecting the political activities of the country.

“If the country doesn’t address this, we will continue to have crisis and our political progress will be affected.

“We will still be having several problems on our political arrangement.

“If we don’t want Nigeria to break in the nearest future, let us reverse Tafawa Balewa’s curse.

“It’s time for the government to address the real issue for Nigeria to be united again. We need prayers to reverse the curse otherwise it will continue to threaten the future of Nigeria.”

Nigerian Civil Servants Are Exceptional, Productive, Says Dr. Folasade

Yemi-Esan

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, has described the Nigerian civil servants as exceptional and highly productive in their services to the development of the country.

Yemi-Esan made the assertion at the Thanksgiving Service, in commemoration of the Civil Service Week, at Exousia Church of God on Sunday in Abuja.

According to Yemi-Esan, going by the assessment of the current civil service, the present crop of civil servants in Nigeria is competitively rated with their counterparts in other parts of the world.

“Honestly, the Nigerian civil servants are very hardworking, and creative in their services and I don’t have any reasons at all to regret being the head of the service, because I have received a lot of cooperation, and a lot reports of hard work among them.

“Unfortunately civil servants are not well celebrated, ” she said.

She, however, advised the civil servants not to relent efforts in their good works and services to their fatherland.

“They are doing very well and my prayer is that they continue, they shouldn’t rest, they must continue to be productive.”

On the significance of the service of thanksgiving to God, the HOS said it was pertinent to do so as he had been good to Nigerians and civil servants in particular.

“It is very important to give thanks to God because he has been good to us, especially in the civil service, so we have to give him thanks.

“We also have another reason to give thanks to God because all the programs for the civil service week went very smoothly”, she said.

Meanwhile, the priest in charge of the service, Pastor Kunle Shoyele in his sermon, advised the civil servants to be more productive, saying productivity increases their capacities.

In his sermon with the theme, ‘Your talent is given to you for use”, the clergyman took read from the book of Mathew 25:14 – 30.

He gave an illustration of how a man out of the three men, who received one talent, despised the little talent and thereby, missed it all.

The cleric, therefore, advised civil servants not to despise their little beginning, adding that they should make good use of their time while working in an office.

“The illustration in the talents of the three men in the Bible is applicable to us, any gift given to us by God is for our productivity.

According to him, God is an investor and whatever he gives us, he expects good out of it and our lives is an investment.

He added that talents are given to us for a purpose, hence the need to be productive in services to the nation.

“Make good use of your time at work in your offices, every office you occupy is given to you in trust and you are expected to execute your services satisfactorily, expecting that someday, you will give account for it, ” the clergyman advised.
