2023 Presidency: Tinubu Will Win But His Health Issues Will Stop Him – Prophet Olujobi

Prophet Bisi Olujobi of Wisdom Church of Christ International in Ketu, Lagos State, has predicted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, would win the 2023 presidential election.

Olujobi said Tinubu would win, but his enemies would use his health issues against him.

In a statement he signed, the clergyman said the APC presidential candidate would win the election but may never rule Nigeria.

According to Olujobi: “In Asiwaju Tinubu’s case, he will clinch the 2023 presidential seat, but the enemies within will use his weakness and health issues against him.

“You remember early in the year 2022 when I warned him about strange conspiracies and mockery which all happened.

“His case again will turn out like that of Awolowo, Abiola and Yaradua, who was elected but never rule, except he prays very well.

“God said all agitation for break up should seize for now as God wants to move through the country within the shortest period of time as human effort has failed.”

Kuje Jailbreak Update: 3 Inmates, Officer Killed, 443 Prisoners Still Missing

The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) has given an update on the attack at Kuje Medium Security facility in Abuja on Tuesday night.

ABN TV had reported how gunmen invaded the prison, releasing inmates, including high-profile suspects.

In a statement by the Public Relations officer of the correction, Umar Abubakar, said a total of 879 inmates escaped from the facility during the unfortunate attack.

“As at the time of this report, 443 have been recaptured, and 551 inmates are currently in custody,” he said.

He said the 16 inmates sustained various degrees of injuries and are being treated, while efforts are ongoing to recapture all fleeing inmates.

“The Service will deploy its Corrections Information Management System (CIMS) in synergy with National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to track all fleeing inmates and return them to custody.

“This is also to confirm to the general public that DCP Abba Kyari and other VIPs held in the facility did not escape. They are presently in custody, hale and hearty. Recall that after the attack at the Medium Custodial Centre in Agbolongo, Oyo state, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, met with the heads of the security agencies under his supervision where the idea of Joint SecurityTaskforce comprising the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigerian Immigration Service, and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps was formed to forestall further breaches on custodial facilities.

“As at the time of the attack on the Kuje facility, we have 38 military personnels on ground in addition to personnel of the Nigerian Police, Civil Defence, DSS, NSCDC and our Armed Squad. This is the Minister’s efforts to rejig the security architecture of our facilities.

“The public is also informed that some of the attackers were killed while some escaped with gunshot wounds. We therefore appeal to hospitals and other medical institutions and practitioners to report anyone that comes to them for treatment for gunshot injuries to the nearest law enforcement agency.

“The Controller General of Corrections Haliru Nababa FICMC, mni appreciates the efforts of other security agencies for coming to the rescue of the Service in a timely manner. He calls on the public to volunteer useful information that may lead to the arrest of the fleeing inmates.

“The CG has reassured the public that the unfortunate incident is been handled with every sense of dedication and professionalism. He further extends his condolence to the families of those who lost their lives during the attack and wishes the injured ones a quick recovery,” the statement read.

NBM Of Africa Disassociates Self From July 7 Celebrations

Anyone marking or holding events in the name of NBM of Africa is an imposter and charlatan, the organization warned on Tuesday.

July 7th as NBM founding date is false and not recognized by the Pan-Africanist group, according to a statement by its national executive.

In the statement released in Benin by the Public Relations Officer; Mr. Oluwatosin Dixon from the Office of the National President NBM of Africa Worldwide, the group described such gatherings as illegal.

It stressed that as an organization that is devoid of illegality but promotes peace, most activities of the movement are documented.

And in the history of NBM, there is no place where JULY 7 was documented as founders day; hence it is a misnomer for any group of person’s to ascribe NBM to that date.

The statement further directed all regions, zones and other units or chapters, to be watchful of such gatherings which may come in the name of NBM of Africa and report same to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

The statement concluded that by this notice, all members of the movement are succinctly warned to be wary and distance themselves from such gatherings.

NBM of Africa has nothing to do with July 7 and has no association with persons or groups making arrangements for such gatherings.

The Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, on Wednesday, reacted to the Kuje prison attack, saying all the 64 members of the Boko Haram terrorists fled the facility.

Gunmen had stormed the facility on Tuesday, with explosions and gunshots heard from the direction of the correctional centre located in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Addressing reporters a day after the attack, Magashi said there are strong indications that terrorists invaded the facility to free their members being held in detention.

He explained that the Federal Government is working hard to ensure that other fleeing inmates were being recaptured and kept back in the facility.

“Most likely, they are Boko Haram because we have a sizeable number of Boko Harams that are in detention,” the minister said.

“Presently, we could not locate any of them. I think there are about 64 Boko Haram (members) in prison, they have all escaped.”

Noting that the situation is under control, he said the correctional centre could accommodate 994 prison inmates.

Of the figure, the Defence Minister said the government has been able to track down 600 inmates who have been recaptured.

He stated further that before the end of the day, many more inmates still hiding would be rearrested and sent back to the facility.

Magashi added, “We are trying to see what we can do to ensure that all the escapees are brought back to the prison yard. I think the prison is an accommodation for about 994 inmate escapees.

“We have 600 already inside now and many people are being captured and brought back to the prison. Maybe by the close of the day, more would have been captured. I think everything is under control.”

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr Shuaibu Belgore, had earlier explained that over 300 of the inmates have been retrieved and more are on the way.

He also said that it is unclear how many of the gunmen were killed, adding that the government lost one official with three others injured.

A political group, Think BAT ’23, rooting for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 general election, has lauded Nigerians for the growing support being given daily to the former Lagos State governor’s presidential bid.

Think BAT ’23 Diaspora Coordinator, Malaysia Chapter, Oluwatoyin Ajewole, who noted that Tinubu would replicate the Lagos Development Agenda in Nigeria, said Nigerians in the diaspora would mobilise for his victory to realise the lofty agenda.

Ajewole, according to a statement made available in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, titled ‘2023: Tinubu’ll replicate Lagos development plans across Nigeria – Group’, spoke in Lagos during the second national convention of the group, where he also canvassed aggressive mobilisation for Permanent Voter Cards registration among Nigerians for huge votes to Tinubu.

The coordinator, who said that Tinubu’s victory was necessary to ensure that the country was prosperous and stayed afloat, described the APC flag bearer as a symbol of transformation, hence the need to support him to achieve his vision and mission of a prosperous nation for Nigerians.

He said, “Asiwaju Tinubu’s generosity and forthrightness coupled with his exposure and business acumen will ensure the needed development for all Nigerians within the shortest period.”

Think BAT ’23 National Convener, Prince Oluwakemi Otitoloju, described Tinubu as “a great builder, hence the need for all to take our destiny in our hands to ensure the success of the APC national leader in the presidential election.”

Otitoloju, who said Tinubu’s candidacy was a decision on who could govern the country to ensure rapid transformation whereby everyone would be happy and live better life where prosperity would abound, called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to join hands together with the APC candidate.

Responding, the Iyaloja-General of Lagos, Chief Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, who lauded the group for its support, said that her father, as an experienced, knowledgeable and competent leader, was poised to actualise development across the country at all times.

Tinubu-Ojo said, “With Tinubu as president, Nigeria will become the true giant of Africa where unemployment, insecurity, and abject poverty among other ills will become a thing of the past.”

US Call To Exclude Russia From All Sports Worldwide Is Politicized – Russian Embassy

A call made by the United States to bar Russia from all sports tournaments worldwide is politically motivated and is an example of unfair competition, the Russian Embassy in the United States said in a statement.

The US Department of State said in a statement on Tuesday that the United States and its partners had urged to suspend the membership of the national sports federations of Russia and Belarus within all international federations. According to the statement, such announcement was made in view of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.

“We have noted yet another Russophobic attack from the United States and its satellites, which do not leave attempts to limit Russian participation in sporting events,” according to the Russian Embassy’s statement on its FaceBook account (a social media site banned in Russia since it is owned by Meta Corporation deemed extremist by Russia’s authorities).

“This has been done on the far-fetched pretext of Russia allegedly violating international obligations and breaching human rights in the context of the special military operation in Ukraine,” the statement continued.

“We consider this step as politicized and aimed, as they say here, at ‘containing’ our country. At the same time, it is obvious that Ukraine is just an excuse. The persecution of Russian athletes began long before the current events. This is part of a ridiculous campaign to ‘cancel’ Russia,” according to the Russian Embassy.

“The actions of the ‘collective West’ are another example of unfair competition in order to deprive Russian athletes of the opportunity to compete on equal terms with rivals from other countries. العاب تربح فلوس

“We emphasize that sport should remain out of politics. Using it as an instrument to exert pressure and settle scores directly violates the basic principles of the Olympic movement and is contrary to the spirit of competitiveness as well as healthy competition,” the Russian Embassy to the US added.

Tuesday’s statement from the US Department of State also suggested that “Individuals closely aligned to the Russian and Belarusian states, including but not limited to government officials, should be removed from positions of influence on international sport federations, such as boards and organizing committees.”

On February 28, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) issued recommendations to international sports federations to bar athletes from Russia and Belarus from taking part in international tournaments, referring to a special military operation in Ukraine.

Following the IOC recommendations in late February, the majority of global sports federations decided to bar athletes from Russia and Belarus from all international sports tournaments.

In late May, IOC President Thomas Bach stated that the world’s current situation was against the return of Russian athletes back to the international level of sports competitions.

Russia’s military operation

On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow would recognize the sovereignty of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Russia signed agreements on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance with their leaders. Russia recognized the Donbass republics in accordance with the DPR and LPR constitutions within the boundaries of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions as of the beginning of 2014.

Russian President Putin said in a televised address on February 24 that in response to a request by the heads of the Donbass republics, he had decided to carry out a special military operation in Ukraine. موقع وليام هيل للمراهنات The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans of occupying Ukrainian territories, noting that the operation was aimed at the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. قانون البوكر

Subsequently, the DPR and the LPR launched an operation to liberate their territories under Kiev’s control.

2023: I Remain Abia Central Senatorial Candidate, I Can’t Be Substituted With Someone Who Never Bought Form — Rep. Onuigbo

I Remain Abia Central Senatorial Candidate, I Can't Be Substituted With Someone Who Never Bought Form — Rep. Onuigbo

Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency of Abia State, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has maintained that he is the authentic candidate of All Progressives Congress APC for Abia Central Senatorial District, insisting that he won the primaries of the party.

The APC had however substituted his name with that of Hon. Emeka Atuma under controversial circumstances.

Reacting to the development, Hon. Onuigbo in a chat with newsmen recently said the substitution of his name will not hold water as he has every evidence to authenticate his claim that he won the primaries. المراهنة

He expressed dismay that someone, who, according to him, did not buy Senatorial form, nor participated in the Senatorial Primary Election could mysteriously emerge a candidate.

“It is therefore so strange to us that someone who did not buy nomination forms for the Senate, never participated in the preliminary processes, that is completing your form, submitting, participating in screening and being cleared by the party, from nowhere had his name listed to substitute my own name. It is one of the strangest things I have ever seen. It is so shocking”

He further stated, “And, as a confirmation of the fact that I was the candidate of the party, they issued me with Form EC9, which is from INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission), which is given to only successful candidates.

“They asked me to complete that form and I completed the form and returned it on June 14. And, after returning it, it was acknowledged by one of the officers there, Emmanuel or so. After that, I was required to sign in a column where my name was already indicated as the APC candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, where, after signing, you were also required to put in your phone number.

“On that document, my name was listed as number one, Senator Orji Uzo Kalu was number two. He signed before me and put his phone number, then Blessing Nwagba and I also signed and put our phone numbers. So, I believed everything was going well, until June 16th, when they issued the list of candidates for the election to represent APC and my name was missing,” Rep Onuigbo explained.

Onuigbo further stated that INEC has already issued him with the Certified True Copy of his result which is a further and concrete evidence that he won the primary election and therefore the APC CANDIDATE for Abia Central Senatorial District.

According to him, the Electoral Act, 2022 makes it difficult for his name or that of any candidate who emerged through primary to be substituted for another person who ab-initio was never part of the Senatorial Primary Election for Abia Central Senatorial Ticket or elsewhere.

He said any attempt to foist candidates from backdoor will amount to political gangsterism, which the Electoral Act 2022 does not recognise.

This is pure political gangsterism. They hijack a position that they never contested for and then, after the election, they now sit in their office and use resources that they are getting from their loots, from their fraudulent conduct to now be fighting the genuine individual. So, it is important for this to be stopped before the general election and that is why we did it”, referring to the enactment of the Electoral Act, 2022.

Rep Onuigbo, who represented the South East Geopolitical Zone in the Joint Technical Committee of the National Assembly that put together the Electoral Act 2022 stated that there are many sections of the Act that were enacted to cure this kind of mischief. The Joint Technical Committee was chaired by Sen Kabiru Gaya and Co-chaired by Hon Aisha Dukku. Other members were Sen Ekweremadu, Sen Shekarau, Sen Bamidele, and Sen Yau. Other members were Hon Magaji, Hon Bob, Hon Mohammed Ari and Hon Adigun. In the Committee, we worked with INEC, Ministry of Justice and the Civil Society Organisation.

According to the Federal Legislator, these are Sections 29(1), 31 and 33. Rep Onuigbo revealed that Section 84(1) states that “a political party seeking to nominate candidates for elections under this Act shall hold primaries for aspirants to all elective positions which shall be monitored by the Commission.” Commission in this case means INEC.

Onuigbo further declared that Section 84(13) states that, “where a political party fails to comply with the provisions of this Act in the conduct of its primaries, its candidate for election shall not be included in the election for the particular position in issue.” Onuigbo said laws are enacted or amended to improve activities of human beings or citizens who make up the society in order to achieve peace, development and good governance and not to return to a state of nature or political banditry. كيفية لعب بلاك جاك He concluded by stating that the nation is moving forward and not not backwards.

UN SDG Ambassador, Amb. Hussaini Coomassie has called on President Buhari to as a matter of urgency sack the CG Prisons/Correctional Services Mr Haliru Nababa, his supervising Minister Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and all the Kuje Prisons officers on duty, for allowing unscrupulous gunmen to infiltrate the prison and releasing deadly inmates including suspected Bokoharam detainees.

Coomassie who also doubles as the Global Vice Chairman, Advocacy for Good Governance & Social Justice Network and Chairman, Leadership Scorecard Magazine Advisory Board made this known after news of the attack in Kuje last night where gunmen in their numbers went beserk, bombing and shooting sporadically, and releasing many captured terrorists on detention.

The attack came barely hours after the Presidential advance team convoy was attacked around Dutsinma in Katsina state.

Also the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr Shuaib Belgore, has said over 600 of the inmates fled the prisons when it came under attack late Tuesday night. طريقة الربح في الروليت

“There should have been comprehensive ground and air surveillance around that axis before allowing the advance convoy to ply the route, this is the second time terrorists are embarrassing the President in Katsina state and we don’t have to wait for the third to occur, it could be disastrous, the FG should adopt El Rufa’i’s advice and launch a full scale war on terror with both air and ground clearance operations.

“We have lost so many personnel as a result of moles among them who sold their conscience for a token. The FG too on their part should look into police welfare and recommend jumbo pay for officers in the field, if we don’t stop bandits now, bandits will seize us in the future. العاب كازينو

“The FG should engage factional leaders of all the armed groups that are ready for a seize fire, ranging from IPOB, BH, ISWAP & BANDITS, they will help the Govt to combat insurgents easily. If the President himself can not safely travel to his hometown then who is safe?” He advised.
