APC chieftain and former Zonal Chairman of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) in Abia Central during the administration of former Governor Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Hon. Emeka Ogbonna, has congratulated Hon. Alex Chidi Chibuikem following his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Abia State House of Assembly, Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency.
The primary election, conducted on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, saw Hon. Alex Chibuikem emerge as the APC candidate for the 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Emeka Ogbonna described Chibuikem’s emergence as a well-deserved victory and a reflection of the confidence party members have in his leadership capacity and grassroots support.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the APC primary election and urged party faithful and supporters across Isiala Ngwa North to remain united and committed towards ensuring victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
Ogbonna further expressed optimism that Hon. Alex Chibuikem would provide quality representation and contribute meaningfully to the development of Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency if elected into office.
Hon. Alex Chibuikem is contesting for the Abia State House of Assembly seat under the campaign slogan, “Emancipation 2027.”
