The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday, June 13, 2025, arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja for continuation of his trial.
Kanu, who has been in custody since 2021, was brought to the court under heavy security as supporters and legal representatives gathered for the proceedings.
The court session is expected to continue cross-examination of prosecution witnesses, with the defence team set to present further arguments.
Kanu’s trial, which has drawn both national and international attention, remains a major legal and political development in Nigeria’s justice system.
