Zamfara State Executive Council has approved the retirement of all non-posted Permanent Secretaries in the State Civil Service.
This was disclosed to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, by the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mannir Mu’azu Haidara Kaura.
He said that those affected would be paid all their entitlements.
The Commissioner also explained that it was also resolved that money for publicity due for payment by any establishment should be paid to the consolidated revenue account.
Kaura urged the people in the state not to relax in their prayers for a divine intervention to restore peace and stability.
According to him, no society could thrive in the absence of peace, adding that the insecurity situation in the state had touched all the sectors.
