Ahead of the yuletide, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has called on the Federal Government to beef up security across the country, decrying that the insecurity situation in the country is increasing daily.
The party also urged government to provide functional “toll-free lines” ensuring that measures are put in place so that security operatives can respond promptly to emergency situations.
The NNPP through its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Olorunmagba, also changed the government “to ensure that our security men are strengthened and better motivated this festive season.”

Olorunmagba said, “The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) calls on the Federal Government of Nigeria to beef up security the more as the year is rounding off even as the security challenges in the country is escalating again in different parts of Nigeria.
“Part of the ideology of this party is nation-building towards the emergence of a new Nigeria that we all can sleep with our eyes closed, knowing that with the protection of God Almighty and our security forces up to the task, any eventuality can be effectively handled.
“Every family in Nigeria is affected one way or the other, thus, all stakeholders either in government or opposition need to ensure all hands are on deck in whatever way we all can contribute towards a new Nigeria that we all can be proud of.
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary prayed that God will help the country and make the citizenry triumph over the challenges bedeviling the nation.
