Youths of Uzuakoli in Bende local government area of Abia State have condemned the attack on the constituency of of the member representing Bende federal constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, wondering the motive of the attackers.
They say the attack of the constituency office located in their community came as a surprise, noting that their community has been very peaceful community.
In a statement on Monday signed by the Uzuakoli Youth President, Ndubuisi Chijioke Casmire the youths said such an attack has not been experienced in a long time in Uzuakoli.

Casmire further added that the youths are on the look out for useful information that will help security operatives apprehend the perpetrators of this violence.
While commiserating with the Reps member, Casmire urged Benjamin Kalu not to be distracted by the dastardly act but remain focused in redefining legislative assignment for the benefits of his constituency.
He said, “The news of the ugly attack on your constituency office in uzuakoli was suprise to us a people, because uzuakoli has being a peaceful hospitality to all and sundry.
“Uzuakoli Youth strongly condemn the attack on whatsoever reason the perpetrators might conceived. We therefore commiserate with you on this, and urge you to remain focused.
“We are very sorry about it. May God protect you!
“Our parameters have being activated to get available information about it,and to know those involved for the law to take its effect.
“We are very determined in fostering peace and security of everyone within our reach. Uzuakoli is peaceful and will always remain.”
