You’re Part Of The Problems In Abia, Ex CPS Appolos Tackles Rep. Onwusibe

A Former Chief Press Secretary to Former Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Enyinnaya Appolos has described the member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Hon Ginger Onwusibe as “one of the problems” in Abia State.

Appolos who had in a post on his Facebook page said some Commissioners (No State mentioned) are suffering and smiling got a reaction from Hon Ginger Onwusibe where he said “No more stealing of Abia Money”

“The present Government is not interested in such undue favor of outrageous funds to Government appointees,but all government appointees including the commissioners are getting their legitimate entitlements” Ginger reacted.

Reacting, Appolos accused Ginger of being among those who lived in affluence under the administration of Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

“Ginger Onwusibe, Compare those of you that were in the last House of Assembly to those there now. You, Ginger Onwusibe, was among those living in affluence in the last administration. How many people did you recommend for appointment in the last administration, and how many have you recommended now? I worked in the last administration and I am proud to say so anywhere”

“The Office of the CPS before Ikpeazu was receiving more than the 20m you mentioned as a media vote. When I came as CPS in 2016, I met the allocation at 20m. The man in the office before me was also receiving the same amount. In fact, it was during my time that it was reduced to 15m. When your group was elected chairmen of LGA in December 2016, you in particular, led the protest, The governor instructed the LGCA Commissioner Charles Ogbonna, to ensure a downward review to 15. My office received 20m only 3 months before it was reduced. It was not given to me as a person, it was given to the office of CPS to work. After me, the person that took over the office was receiving the same amount. You have been particularly pained about this and have complained to whoever you meet, and I know that is the only reason you always come to my page looking for what to talk about. I am happy you have finally spoken up. I was in that office for 3 years. Media management is not done free of charge. There is a media vote for every media office.

“You lied that you were only allowed to recommend GM Abssa. You had a long list of SAs that were approved for you. You were not the only person in Isialangwa North, that should be allowed to recommend a commissioner. There were others who also contributed to the system we all belonged to and should be given opportunities. The last administration was fair to you, Ginger” he concluded.
