“You Can’t Win All Your Battles” – Nnamdi Kanu Tackles New Army Chief

Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has criticised newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Faruk Yahaya, over a recent comment that the Nigerian army will win all its battles under his watch.

The COAS on Monday, said he will command the Army “to win all land battles in defence of the territorial integrity of Nigeria, protect her national interests and accomplish assigned tasks in aid of civil authority among other responsibilities”.

Kanu who took offense with the statement, claimed that no army in the history of the world has ever won all its battles. He tweeted;

““Nigerian Army will win all battles” – Mr Yahaya, Army Chief of Staff. This is the sort of silly talk that can only come from a quota General of a #Zoo army.”
