Multiple award-winning Nigerian superstars, Wizkid, has added another plaque to his shelf as he has bagged the award for the Best African Act in this year’s edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards.
He beat the likes of Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic in the tightly-contested category to get the award.
Congratulating the Essence singer on his win, organizers of the event via their Instagram handle, @mtvbaseafrica, wrote, “HUGE congratulations to BIG WIZ @wizkidayo for winning Best African Act! From Lagos to the world #MTVEMA #StarBoyHQ.”
