A sports enthusiast and politician, Sir Chikwe Udensi has expressed hope that Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles could emerge the champions of the 2024 African Cup of Nations ongoing in Ivory Coast, if God of soccer is in the side of the Eagles.
The Eagles flied over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon last week with a 2—0 win to book a spot in the quarter-final of the continental football competition.
With their 1—0 narrow win over Angola on Friday, the Eagles have flied to the semi-final of the game.

Sir Udensi who watched the match at his palatial Asokoro Abuja residence on Saturday along with some friends and visitors was seen in a viral video erupting in jubilation with Nigeria’s Lookman scored the only goal in the match at the 41st minute in the game.
He told ABN TV shortly after the game that Nigeria would have scored at least three goals if their numerous opportunities were properly utilized.
“You know I’ve always believed in fair play. I am an advocate of fair play. I would wish Nigeria will win but ultimately, the most powerful side will win.
“Also don’t forget, there is God of soccer that will decide who the winner will be. But I wish and hope that God of soccer will be on our side”, he said.
Sir Udensi an Interpol Systems Consultant also urged the Eagles to redouble their efforts and target the final of the game and come home with the trophy.
