This is amid speculations that Wike may dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to the fallout over the presidential primary of the party and the failure of the party’s presidential standard-bearer, Atiku Abubakar, to pick the Rivers Governor as running mate for the 2023 general elections.

On Twitter, Wike who shared images said: “Finally enjoying a much-needed vacation in Turkey with my brother @GovernorIkpeazu.”

Before his trip to Turkey, Wike was visited by several politicians in recent times, including Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidates of the Labour Party and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) respectively
