Wike Joins Presidential Race

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Sunday announced that he will be joining the 2023 presidential race.

Wike stated this in a social media post.

He said, “I will be running for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Though his party, the PDP is yet to zone its presidential ticket, he has joined several bigwigs in the party, including former vice-president Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Governor of Bauchi State, Adamu Mohammed, his Sokoto counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal, Anambra state former Governor, Peter Obi and others who have indicated interest to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
