A sports enthusiast and former Abia governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has finally revealed why he has chosen Arsenal FC as a choice football club to invest instead of Enyimba FC.
Senator Kalu, representing Abia North on Monday said the success his administration recorded in Enyimba between 2000-2007 has continued to increase his passion for football.
He also mulled to invest in Arsenal, adding that he will buy a 35 percent stake in the football club.

In a chat with ABN TV on Tuesday, the Senate Chief Whip said Enyimba is a government enterprise and not a commercial entity, maintaining that he would have invested in Enyimba if it was commercialized.
Kalu’s administration reputedly revived the once-dormant Enyimba Football Club during his tenure as Abia governor.
He led the club to emerge as African champions twice, making them the first club in Nigeria to achieve the feat.
