West Ham United manager, David Moyes has identified Gift Orban as KAA Gent’s main attacking threat ahead of Thursday’s (today) UEFA Europa Conference League clash.
The Hammers will be up against the Belgian Pro League outfit in the quarter-final first-leg encounter at the Ghelamco Arena.
Orban scored a hat-trick in Gent’s 4-1 drubbing of Turkish Super Lig club, Istanbul Basaksehir in the previous round last month.
It was the fastest hat trick recorded in the history of the UEFA club competition.
“Gent did very well in Istanbul. They are going very strong. Gift Orban scored a hat-trick in Istanbul,” Moyes told a press conference.u
“He is a very dangerous player but we saw their work enough and realize that their core has several strong players.
“We don’t know everything about Geent, but we really did our homework. We just have to get to our best level to go one round and keep our perfect record in Europe.”
Orban joined Gent from Norwegian second-division club, Staebek in January.
