A non-governmental organisation, Neo Black Movement, NBM of Africa has again said the group has nothing to do with group of persons named Black Axe, insisting that it is registered and recognized by law.
NBM of Africa, Umuahia Zone was reacting to allegation that some group of persons named BLACK AXE were claiming to be its members, insisting that no relationship exists between the two groups.
In a release on Monday obtained by ABN TV, the Umuahia Zonal President of NBM of Africa, Engr. Emeka Ezeanyagu highlighted the objectives of his organization to include promotion, protection and the advancement of black solidarity, world peace, international cooperation and understanding.
“NBM of Africa is a registered non-governmental organization under the relevant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and with its registered office at Uhuru Heritage Centre, Amagba, Benin City, Edo State.
“The leadership and members of NBM of Africa Umuahia Zone hereby notify the relevant Government Agencies within the Zone and outside the Zone, and members of the General Public that NBM of Africa being a registered non-governmental organization with its core aims and objectives centred on the principles of democracy, equality and social justice and dedicated to the promotion, protection and the advancement of black solidarity, world peace, international cooperation and understanding, equality and social justice for the disadvantaged persons, globally has no nexus with the name or appellation “BLACK AXE”.

Engr. Ezeanyagu also stated that in no event should the zone be associated, be liable for any act either special, direct, indirect, consequential or any damages whatsoever with persons or group of persons not registered with the zone or claim to be its member.
He insisted that the zone will not fail to take necessary legal actions against such persons, group or persons or individual who are not its registered members or members trying to ridicule, disrepute or drag its name to the mud.
He therefore urged the security agencies, media, and the general public in Abia State to take note accordingly.
