We’ll Strengthen Air Operations, Protect National Peace — Chief of Air Staff

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening operational effectiveness, professionalism, and safety standards across all formations of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

Air Marshal Aneke gave the assurance during his maiden strategic meeting with Branch Chiefs and Air Officers Commanding, held at the NAF Headquarters in Abuja.

According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the high-level meeting was convened to review ongoing operations, address emerging challenges, and chart new strategies for optimizing the delivery of air power in support of Nigeria’s national security objectives.

The Air Chief emphasized that his leadership would be guided by the principles of professionalism, discipline, and clarity of purpose. He further reassured Nigerians of the NAF’s unwavering commitment to collaborate effectively with sister services and other security agencies to decisively combat terrorism, banditry, and other threats to national peace and stability.
