We Won’t Stop Supporting Buhari To Deliver Mandate, Says Ahmad Lawan

The National Assembly will continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him continue working towards the development of the country and keep his promises to Nigerians.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan said this Sunday in Gombe while inaugurating the Empowerment Programme of Senator Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, the senator representing Gombe North Senatorial District.

He said President Buhari had provided great leadership and brought positive development for both the country and the All Progressives Congress (APC) since assumption to office in 2015.

Lawan said Buhari had shown great desire to turn around the fortunes of the country and he had been persistent in that quest, noting that though the country is not “out of the woods, President Buhari is doing his best and for that we commend him.”

The Senate President called on Nigerians not to be deceived during campaigns, noting that APC’s continuity would bring more dividends of democracy for the country and the people.
