Wabara Congratulates President-Elect, Bola Tinubu

A Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sir Marc Wabara has congratulated Nigeria’s President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu, former Lagos State governor had emerged victorious in the presidential election that held on Saturday by scoring a total of 8,794,726 to beat his closest rival Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 6,984,520 votes.

In a statement, Wabara, who is a member of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, said the victory of Tinubu was well deserved, adding that the election was a tough one that gave the top three contenders almost an equal opportunity to win the election.

He described the president-elect as a man who has remained focused on his goals and aspirations, stressing that he would bring his experiences both in the public and private sectors to bear on his commitment to serve Nigeria.

Wabara called on Nigerians to give Tinubu and the Vice President-Elect, Alhaji Kashim Shettima maximum support, as he was confident his leadership would impact positively on geo-political zones of the country.

He expressed confidence in the capacity of the president-elect to steer the ship of Nigeria along the course that would bring about the much needed unity and development in Nigeria.
