Argentina star Juan Sebastian Veron has spoken out about Lionel Messi’s move to the MLS, where he will play for Inter Miami.
After his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30, Messi is likely to join Inter Miami in the US Major League Soccer as a free agent.
Veron, a former Manchester United and Chelsea player, commented on his compatriot’s move to the MLS.
“At the moment, from what he says, look for peace of mind, although it will be difficult, less demanding at the end of his career,” he told SPORT.
Messi’s tenure in Europe will come to an end when he joins Inter Miami.
With 496 goals, he became the greatest scorer in Europe’s top five divisions after leaving Barcelona for PSG in 2021.
