The Ututu development Association Aba branch last weekend celebrated its first Annual Ututu Day/Award ceremony where it honoured and endorsed the APC candidate for House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke for the 2023 election.
It was a colorful event as all the Ututu sons and daughters in Aba and beyond were present to celebrate ututu cultural heritage. Ututu is a community in Arochukwu where Chief Okeke hails from.
The Chairman Ututu Development Association Aba Branch, Chief Innocent Nubia Oti expressed his gratitude to the entire sons and daughters for making out time to celebrate the occasion, Oti Maduabuchi Orieji, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Chief Okeke said in a statement.
Chief Nnubia Oti appreciated Chief Daniel Okeke for making out time out of his tight schedules to identify with his brothers and sisters. He further professed their unalloyed support for Mezie 2023 project.
He appealed to the Ututu people living in Aba who transferred their PVC to the village to endeavor to follow it up and pick it up when it’s ready as that’s the only way they can achieve a better constituency.
The President General of Ututu Development Association (worldwide) Chief Engr. Charles Nwankwo presented an award of Honor (Onwa Nde Ututu) to Chief Daniel Okeke reassuring him of the unreserved support from Nde Ututu.
Chief Daniel Okeke voiced his heartfelt gratitude to Nde Ututu for the conditional love and support they showed him and promised not to disappoint them, promised to continue with his good deeds, and promised to always be the epitome of Love, Progress, and Development with or without politics.
