Yobe State Government has tasked health workers across the state to discharge their duties with all sense of responsibility and ensure proper utilization of all equipment provided in hospitals for effective and efficient service delivery.
The government through the Executive Secretary, Hospital Management Board, Dr. Musa Baba gave the charge when he paid an unscheduled visit to the State Specialist Hospital in Buni-Yadi to assess the level of commitment by the staff in service delivery.
The team on arrival, inspected the service points in the facility to see the level and standard of care provided.

Dr. Baba lauded the efforts of the management and staff of the facility for their commitment to ensuring quality service delivery.
The team led by Executive Secretary, however, urged staff in the facility to improve laboratory services, and documentation of patients’ care services rendered.
“You are expected to improve proper sanitation of the service points and their environment and to keep up-to-date duty rosters in their respective units.
“You must always put on a uniform and also avoid absenteeism and negligence on duty”, Dr. Baba admonished
