Members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ukwa West local government of Abia state have resolved to give peace a chance to ensure the development of the party.
This follows a meeting of stakeholders convened by one of the leaders in the local government, Hon. Signor Kanu at his home town Umuba Umunteke Asa Ukwa West LGA.
Various speakers emphasized that it is time to work in unison to ensure unity returns to the APC fold in the local government.
The convener, Hon. Signor expressed gratitude to the members for a show of love during and after the burial of their Leader Engr. Okey Nwubani, promising that he will be there for the party just like he did when the late Leader was alive.
Various contributors mandated the Party Chairman to call a broad meeting of all Stakeholders and Leaders of APC in Ukwa West to address all issues of concern.
They thanked Hon. Signor Kanu for the Leadership quality he has exhibited and advised that he should keep up the good work.
Everyone present agreed to work towards achieving a lasting peace.
The meeting was well attended by all Pro Groups such as Hon. B.I. Onwukwe Chairman OUK Movement Ukwa West, Nkemdirim Onyike Coordinator Team Ogah, Nduka Nwosu Coordinator One-on-One with Ogah, Onyemachi Dimgba Coordinator USOM, Hon Lucky Nwele Chairman Reality Organisation, Hon. Richard Nwankwo Coordinator Reformers Group, Hon. Eze Nwoloki Leader Impact Plus and Hon Ezedinachi Kanu Leader APGA Structure.
