Ukrainian President Zelensky Survives Auto Crash

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was checked by medics but is not seriously hurt after a car crashed into his motorcade leaving the driver needing hospital treatment.

His spokesman said that the accident occurred in Kyiv and he was examined by doctors travelling with him afterward.

He does not have serious injuries after the crash in Ukraine’s capital.

Spokesman Sergei Nikiforov added that the driver of the car was taken to hospital in an ambulance for treatment.

The circumstances of the accident will be clarified by law enforcement officers.

Mr Nikforov’s full statement reads:  ‘In Kyiv, a car collided with the car of the President of Ukraine and escort vehicles.

‘The doctors accompanying the head of state provided the driver of the car with emergency assistance.

‘The President was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were found. Law enforcement officers will find out all the circumstances of the accident.’
